1) We're in the middle of what's essentially an authoritarian takeover of the United States. Democratic Party leadership has completely underperformed, mounting an ineffective opposition to Trump's illegal behavior - even now doing as much to acquiesce as to oppose it.

I’m not sure we can wait until November. We need a yellow vest movement. We need a pots and pans revolution but we’re so divided that I’m not sure we can pull off what Iceland was able to do after the 08 crisis.
