1) We're in the middle of what's essentially an authoritarian takeover of the United States. Democratic Party leadership has completely underperformed, mounting an ineffective opposition to Trump's illegal behavior - even now doing as much to acquiesce as to oppose it.

2) The people have seen no other option than to take matters into their own hands, creating a far more dangerous situation than would have occurred if Democrats in Congress have stood up to him as they needed to do for the last three years.

3) At this point it's a very good idea for prayerful people to pray, meditators to meditate & all well-intentioned Americans to follow your heart, stay informed, summon courage & stand up for our democracy. Vote Blue on Nov. 3 as though your life depended on it, because it might.

Dems are hiding in the corner (as usual). Why they won't speak about about his egregious criming is anyone'$ guess but they've been hella ineffective.

What hasn't the Democratic Party done that they can do unilaterally?
Dems literally reauthorized his NDAA powers as well as voted to give him more funding. When you write "ineffective opposition," I'm like what opposition? They are his enablers.

It is sad to watch a ones great nation destroy itself because of one man and 2 parties that won't uphold the constitution #saddays

Let’s not leave out the central role their intended nominee had in actually building and expanding this corporate police-state. Biden has vastly more to do with that then Trump ever could have hoped to. “Ineffective opposition”? Far more accurately “active participation“.

The "Progressive" Caucus is useless. No fight in them. Pelosi kills Progressive legislation. The Party is corrupt. Rotten at the core. You would need 117 real Progressives in the House to change it. 94 in the caucus now. But they are weak and many are Progressive in name only.

What? You’re asking us to stay informed but you appear to be ill-informed yourself. Name a Democrat that doesn’t support the protesters. I’ll wait.
