When things are as messed up as they are now, there’s no reason not to use the time to imagine what it is we would actually want. Don’t think about what’s politically “possible;” think about what would be beautiful and good.

Thank you! I posed this question to my Facebook friends today: what is your vision for America moving forward? Almost no one responded - and it made me very sad. Feels like no one has any idea what we *should* be working towards.

What if Americans could imagine this place, a modern society where ✅ Everyone has the dignity of a living wage and decent retirement ✅ Everyone has better healthcare for much less than we pay ✅ Everyone is given the opportunity of a higher education
Denmark is a "Social Democracy" Their society is centered on social programs, like ✅ Universal Healthcare ✅ Universal Higher Education Happiest countries: 1. Finland 🇫🇮 2. Denmark 🇩🇰 3. Norway 🇳🇴 4. Iceland 🇮🇸 5. Netherlands 🇳🇱

Yes!! America has everything it needs to care for all her citizens. The means and resources are abundant worldwide, possible...to heal, restore and lift all sentient beings. We have everything...but a devoted heart to caring.

Agree! My idea is to take the time to have conversations with all the stakeholders as to what the schools of the 21at century could look like! If not now, when will we ever have this opportunity to pause?

Can we use this time to design the schools of the 21st century? It'll take time. We could make the time right now if we wanted to. My family is ready to do the work.

Nothing seems possible to be beautiful.

Thank you for saying this. I'm feeling some mirroring and validation in the universe about this, because I was just on my elliptical trainer thinking, "envision the reality we want. Envision the reality I want. Envision the reality we want."
