McConnell is acting as though human suffering simply does not matter. Tens of millions of our fellow Americans are experiencing utter despair & he will not lift a finger. Somehow somewhere, the conscience of America is going to re-assert itself with tremendous power and strength.

Human suffering doesn't matter to some, even in my own social group. Empathy, compassion, love. They seem only revered in church, on Sunday, maybe only a holiday. We best teach children, teach our selves, that a dedication to the heart is the investment for any sustainable future
