with all due respect, this nation has declared war on the people of this land since its inception. from upholding, implementing, and legitimizing unequal institutions to literal genocide. the whole foundation is as violent as any war overseas.
Never before in the history of the USA has a US president basically declared war on the American people. We’ve done it to others, and yes – if you’re wondering if this is some kind of karmic irony by which we’re experiencing on ourselves what we’ve done to others – you bet it is.

They did not consider Native Americans their own people, which is exactly what the problem was. And if all we’re going to do is condemn this country then there’s no way in hell we’re going to save it.
