I would encourage you to read "The Deficit Myth" (bestseller on Amazon) by Dr. @StephanieKelton who was a congressional economist and is blowing up now as an economic celebirty. Others would be @NathanTankus and @wbmosler. Look up modern monetary theory #mmt.
