I have given up on the Democrats. I am sorry, but I am just being honest. It is time, not for a third party, but for a new party altogether. A party of the people instead of money and war. I have given up on the Democrats.

While fondly remembering the Vietnam era, please remember that the DEMS were almost guaranteed victory over corrupt Nixon, but the far left wing demanded a far left candidate and platform and George McGovern lost 48 states in the electoral college.

This is not the time for purity tests or self-righteous stands by ANYONE let alone Democrats. A broad range of acceptance is needed not just for POC or LGBTQ but for fellow democrats. Also reaching across the aisle, not just in congress but in grocery stores.

Really well said. We need to focus on reforms that affect both parties, get money out of politics and how politicians get elected, and reform our elections, national election day that everyone has off for e.g.
