Given that I founded an organization which has served 12 million meals to homebound sick people, I think I’ve actually put quite a bit of food on people’s tables. (And I’ve never clutched a crystal)

The cities were provided with medical personnel from DOD early on in the Covid scare and most of those assets were unused. Now DOD deploys assets to protect federal property containing evidence and legal filings. Unlike politicians, the military takes their oath seriously.

What is the appropriate response to insurrection? The military possesses a near instantaneous response rate and they are moving to protect federal property two months after the star of rioting—not exactly a blitzkrieg.
