If you want to fight crime you reduce poverty. If want to fight crime you make each school in America a palace of learning. If you want to fight crime you eradicate unnecessary human suffering. If you want to fight crime you fight the origins of despair. You do not invade cities.

Also, kids should all go to public schools. There shouldnt be any elite private schools. When the rich kids go to the same school as the middle class or poor kids....watch how the school gets so much better. Watch how the school has money pouring into it. SMH.

all true. also, if you want to fight poverty you fight crime. Businesses will not move to high crime areas. There will be poor food choices. There will not be many jobs. There will not be safe housing. People will be afraid to leave their homes for exercise. We can do both.

If you want to fight crime you substitute mass-rehabilitation for mass-incarceration. As CA corrections leader Kenyon Scudder said in 1954: “America can’t solve her crime problem by locking [offenders] into a great bastille.” Gear every day of custody towards successful re-entry.

I had to explain this to my friend today. She is in her 80s and was complaining about seeing criminals stealing on the ring App. I told her there are many people are suffering & have absolutely nothing. i don’t condone this activity but I agree we have to look at the true root.
