If you want to fight crime you reduce poverty. If want to fight crime you make each school in America a palace of learning. If you want to fight crime you eradicate unnecessary human suffering. If you want to fight crime you fight the origins of despair. You do not invade cities.

I agree with everything except the last line. Peaceful assembly is an awesome part of American History, but destruction & Violence are not protected actions. The primary function of any Govt. is safety, vandalism & violence are malignancies on society & must be treated as such.

No, the primary function of any govt. is to uphold the Constitution. Which they are not doing. Crime should be dealt with, yes. But these stormtroopers are not stopping crime, they're creating chaos.

To fight crime we need to put criminals in prison. I'm poor is not an excuse for rape, murder, assault and other violent crimes. It's an extreme character flaw that starts in the home. You can be poor and have and be raised with morals.

I agree. So get back to the point. Do you think troops invading a city are going to be able to identify the criminals and throw them in prison? That's a fairy tale. It has nothing to do with our system of government.
