Amazon paid no federal taxes on $11.2 billion in profits last year. It's obscene. Our tax policies are the main instrumentation of economic injustice in America.

Amazon had tax credits from prior losses aka tax carry forwards. In 2019, their credits partially expired and they've BEGUN to pay taxes again. But you knew that: you just wanted the likes.

Our tax policies are a result of the system of capitalism, which allows one class of people to get so rich and powerful, they influence the govt to manipulate the tax code further in their favor.

Umm that $11.2B was reinvested back into the business, therefore the economy. All businesses only pay taxes on profits. It’s the same with all size businesses. And our taxes are NOT the main instrument of economic injustice, it’s systemic racism. Don’t lie to the people.

No capitalism is the main instrumentation pf economic injustice. Taxes are the atrempt to retroactively fix an inequal distribution of wealth.

Tax policies driven by corrupt and corporate owned politicians.
Amazon paid all its workers over 15$ per hour. Nearly 2x of most other companies. They all paid taxes. Those 11.2B will be used to invest in more machines, larger workforce, R&D into green tech and other important things, etc!
