The Department of Homeland Security should be abolished. It has totally and completely failed in its mission, a kind of Frankenstein that has turned against us. #AbolishDHS

So we abolish the Coast Guard, FEMA, USCIS because one arm of the DHS needs to be held accountable for their actions? Look, I’m all for discussion, but all these sweeping abolish this and defund that is just anger masquerading as being helpful. 🤷🏻‍♀️

They don’t need to be under DHS. They could be standalone agencies. DHS was a knee-jerk reaction to 9/11 and it has cost Americans their rights

Absolutely. If the CIA and FBI had communicated more effectively, 9/11 would theoretically not have occurred. It is in fact not asking too much to make fundamental changes at this point; it’s incremental changes that will be an inadequate response to the times.

There are some physicists, including me, and a professor of engineering that have proven those buildings had to have been demolished by explosives. There are others who have proven those airplanes could not have been flown by those people. 9/11 was at least partly an inside job.

The writing on 9/11 was on the wall, lest we forget that Bin Laden worked with the CIA when it was convenient for the US? Knee jerk changes under the banner of let’s throw the baby out with the bathwater was never real change. It didn’t work, doesn’t work, won’t work.

If people want to lament the knee jerk reaction to 9/11 with the creation of DHS, then the knee jerk reaction to abolish it is just one in the same. Zero net change. 🤷🏻‍♀️
