It cannot be said too many times: The American people have the right to protest. People gathering on a street is not a riot. The destruction of federal property was minimal compared to violence being perpetrated on citizens by federal agents. US cities are not occupied territory.

I think, by now, it is very safe to say people are no longer allowed to exercise their 1st Amendment rights and we live in a Police State. Now it's up to us to decide how to act on that.

The people of Portland are doing just that. Showing up in big numbers and refusing to be violent is the key, because it makes it dramatically clear that any violence is coming from the other side. Prayers for everyone’s safety.🙏🏻

You obviously have not been to Portland lately. Portland has protests all the time. What has been happening here for 52 nights is terrorism. People are scared and worried. How would you like to change jobs or sell a home in Portland right now?

Did you see the protesters blocking the door of the police department and the lighting a fire inside? How about using firecrackers, water bottles, rocks, laser pointers, and actually asking the police to come out and face them?

These ARE NOT RIOTS. This is CIVIL WAR and it's about damn time. We are suffering, starving, homeless, without medical care and being worked to DEATH. THIS IS WAR!!

The rioters lit a A FIRE outside the Fed building before they got tear gassed and moved away. Stop saying they are protesters. I watched this LIVE. The media is lying to you. Why don’t you watch it live for yourself?

Yes, it hasn't been a proportional response. But I'm confounded to explain yesterday's attack on an Amazon store in Seattle that was far more violent than mere graffiti. Why? I'm lost. That kind of behavior makes it so easy for Trump and his gendarme to move in and restore order.
