I will vote for Joe Biden and I want desperately for him to win. But for establishment Democrats to talk as though that will fix everything or as though Dems haven’t enabled the emergence of this horrifying authoritarian wave, will neither solve the problem nor even help him win.

this is the practical and logical thing to do given the choice. but i think too many people have lost faith in voting. it sure would help if we had a candidate we really believed in and trusted.

Joe Biden is a Republican and will change nothing. Only thing that will happen is centralists and neoliberals will go back to sipping lattes and the media will Blackout social issues. Making everything look like it is going fine.

Who cares what establishment Democrats say. We're not weak minded. We don't need a "dear leader." Change will come with electing Progressives in local, state, and federal elections. Change bubbles up. It doesn't trickle down. #VoteJoe #VoteBlueToSaveAmerica

That is why Marianne’s Progressive Down-Ballot Summit was and continues to be so important...14 days in June. “If we want a more visionary government we need to support more visionary candidates. And the time to do it is now”. progressivecandidatesummit.c…

By committing to vote for Biden, you’re giving up all leverage to push him on your issues. If he won’t listen now when he needs your support, why would he listen after he’s won?

Hes a Republican. Every democratic nominee starting with Bill Clinton has been. It's all the DNC will allow. They must be fought against just like the GOP.

Four more years of Trump or potentially twelve years of neo-liberalism with a Biden/Harris ticket. Vote third party and to hell with the two plutocracy parties and their never ending wars and squeezing the population dry like a lemon. Enough is enough.

I just can’t trust a guy that’ll say anything to win. One minute he’s calling Sanders a commie Castro sympathizer and next he’s thanking him for his endorsement and saying what a great guy he is

I see the argument some make for feeling the need to vote Biden. I respect them, but there's just no possible way for me to vote for a war criminal. I won't no part in a system where these are the options.

With all due respect, “desperately” wanting Joe to win against Trump is merely perpetuating the notion that it will fix everything. Regardless of who is in the WH, the core has eroded, which is Americans are seeing themselves as powerless in their own government.
