1/ I knew America was going to reap what we’ve sown - I’ve been speaking and writing about it for years - but even I didn’t expect it to come in one fell swoop like this.

2/ Our lack of reverence for the earth and its inhabitants, our willingness to prostitute the pillars of democracy for the sake of corporate money, was bound to rebound like karmic arrows flying straight for their mark. “God shall not be mocked” means that He isn’t.

3/ But in my moments of greatest awareness and realization, sickened by the corruption of our system and the devastation it has brought upon us, I remember something that brings tears to my eyes and joy to my heart.

4/ God is merciful. As we atone in our hearts & admit what we’ve done, humbling ourselves before the God of our understanding, a miracle will occur in America. For everyone who laughs at this there’s someone out there who knows it’s true. Let today be a day of Atonement & prayer.
