We have a system that demonizes the poor, passively abuses children by withholding education & opportunity, wages war casually, denies healthcare to millions, tolerates systemic racism - but takes every care not to inconvenience those with 3 homes, a plane, 10 cars and 2 yachts.

Many progressive candidates who see the world exactly as we do ran in primaries this year alone, but didn't get enough support even from other progressives to be able to override the corporate money backing their opponents. So we have to be more involved in electoral politics!

I don’t think that’s true. If we had real progressives in the Senate, the House and the White House, we could do extraordinary things quickly. Look what FDR did. It’s been done before.
