We have a system that demonizes the poor, passively abuses children by withholding education & opportunity, wages war casually, denies healthcare to millions, tolerates systemic racism - but takes every care not to inconvenience those with 3 homes, a plane, 10 cars and 2 yachts.

A lot of what has happened happened because people didn't vote. SCOTUS gutted the Voting Rights Act in 2013 but the craziness began in 1980. We the People have to take some responsibility for letting things get this bad. A distracted & disengaged citizenry had a lot to do with it
