That is not at all what I think, and nothing in my 37 year career would indicate that I do. Your projecting on to me that I’m a naive or lightweight thinker doesn’t make me one.

1/ MLK Jr wouldn’t agree that it takes privilege to advocate for non-violence. It wasn’t that violent segregationists cared, it was that the conscience of the rest of the nation cared. It’s BECAUSE the forces arrayed against us are violent that we must refuse to be.
