Let’s walk through this. A whole bunch of people are on the street, the vast majority of whom are there for good reasons & a small portion of whom are real jerks, even criminals. So police should get to just start grabbing people so everybody gets the message? UnAmerican as hell.

Its called an arrest, and it is common place when those large groups of people are burning down businesses, and ripping people from cars and beating them. Maybe that large groups shoulda stopped the violent "jerks" who were making them all look like violent thugs.
