When all this is over, we need to pass a law that every state require at least half a year’s civics education in middle school or high school on the basics of the US Constitution. It’s terrifying how many Americans seem not to have a clue.

I did my edu till HS in America and thought my civics knowledge was less than basic bc I didnt do HS here. Are u saying it isn't taught there either?? How do ppl know about their govt then?

It’s rediculous to think that you should only have a four month education about the country you live in.. civics should be part of your everyday education, every year!
