Problem is that class will be taught very differently depending on which state it's taught in.

And also, we should require a cultural anthropology course- this will help kids understand that US imperialism is horrible and that other people and their cultures also have the right to exist without Western imperialism telling them what is best-

We already have this. Although States requirements vary on other grad requirements, you can't graduate from a US High School without 1 year of US History and a semester of US Gov.

A woman came into my dispensary yesterday complaining about wearing masks and then said angrily that we desperately needed to have freedom of speech written into the constitution. I prayed for her.

How about both? Maybe one in 6th or 7th grade & a refresher in 10th or 11th?

I totally agree. I also feel we should be teaching our children how the TV spews Propaganda 24/7, that there is only 1 party, the Corporate party, and class warfare is upon us.

It’s already done but in a propagandistic triumphalist fashion that causes more harm than good. You cannot understand constitutions if you only ever study one and frame it as a perfect relic of a perfect golden age crates by “god-inspired” venerable fathers. This IS the problem
