When all this is over, we need to pass a law that every state require at least half a year’s civics education in middle school or high school on the basics of the US Constitution. It’s terrifying how many Americans seem not to have a clue.

Our highschool's in Ontario require gr 10 students to study half a semester of civics along with half a semester of careers. It is good general information. Everyone everywhere should know these basics.
We had a whole year in 8th grade 1970 California. Civics had to be passed or no high school. Learned how a bill becomes law, three branches of government, Bill of Rights, etc. Great basic citizenship stuff.

We need meditation classes in school so we can prevent mental illness and promote healthy thinking.

Can we please make that a requirement to occupy the Oval Office, too? I miss having a Constitutional scholar in the White House.

The people who need it most would just denounce it as a fake school subject designed by the left to keep them down.
