This is an absolutely false narrative. The reason other countries are able to open their schools is because 1) they’ve reduced the incidence of Covid so dramatically & 2) they’ve instituted safe practices for when they do open. Neither of those are true here.

You don’t think schools would implement safe practices? Really?

Yes... key word, "because"... They're able to do so BECAUSE of their successful mitigation efforts while the GOP is forcing the issue IN SPITE OF having actively done things to make things worse... much, much worse.

Rather then complain about false narratives , why not : work with other #Americans to find solutions to the #Schoolsreopening issue. Add your voice in #America to the formation of a federal SOS or "standard of safety" protocol for #schools across #America and send it to @POTUS .

What about Sweden that never closed schools?

Why would anything be true in the US anymore. We send our off to school with bullet proof backpacks, why do we think they won’t do it for this. If we wait until November to remove trump...we are in trouble. Arrest his family, impeach Barr. Do something! Not go on a 3 week break

White House Barbie. Tiny Hands and their ilk won't lift a finger to create safety protocols for potential school shootings. Why would they care about potentially 15,000 dead kids to Corona? They are the worst. Monsters. And call themselves Christians.

How could you be upset about schools reopening when your campaign was built around the schools being “a palace for learning” providing “wrap around services” that could handle the traumatized children who live with constant PTSD. Now, you think they’re best left at home?

France and South Korea have shut many of their schools down again because infection rates went back up.

My school (UK) reopened with classes of 8. Staggered start/finish times, staggered lunch and break times, no interaction between classes or teachers, strict handwashing regime, every pupil has a personal 'pack' with pencil, pen, book etc and enforced social distancing.
