Greed -cost of living- minimuin wage goes up - prices inflate. When minimum wage goes up , it only helps those making Minimum wage. They rest do not get pay increases , which ultimately decrease thier salary due to increase prices. Think about that ?

I checked out rent in my area. My mortgage is less than rent for a 1 or 2 bdrm apt. There is something wrong with this. Greed for starters

Ya, we can not afford housing, healthcare, education, childcare, vacation and more but we can afford tax cut for the rich and pentagon gets a ballooned budget year after year.

Maybe if property taxes weren’t so high, insurance wasn’t so high, rent wouldn’t need to be so high... and raising the minimum wage will not solve this, because we will just end up getting taxes more.

That's a strawman. The average cost for a rental unit in rural counties in washington state is anywhere from 800- 1000 dollars. The average cost of a studio in Seattle is 1500. I rented a studio in college for 1250. In 2010. This is a very nuanced issue and requires local changes
