I wish someone would write the definitive book on how so many things like housing costs have increased so much faster than income since 1980. How and why did that happen?

Raise the minimum wage! It’s $7.25 today. To equal the $2.85 minimum wage I got in 1975 it would have to be $18-22!!!
Yet another reason why we need #UBI. $15MW = Death to small biz. UBI = a floor for everyone to stand on. UBI = capitalism that doesn’t start at $0.

Dod we think it would? Min wage workers are on the dole, chronically. Housing, insurance, food. Throwing money at them isn't going to help either.

It's worse than most know. Most low wage workers don't get 40 hours a week. Fast food places will schedule them on split shifts and cut them early if business is slow. You might only make $200 a week but you can't work two jobs because you're over scheduled.

Capitalism needs to be crushed to the point that those Predatory Capitalists can find ways to make money in areas that are not essential. Two of those, among others, are housing and Medicare for All

The real minimum wage is $0. That's what happens to thousands of workers when the government mandated minimum wage is raised. If raising the minimum wage has no negative effects, why not raise it to $100 an hour? That way everybody will be rich. Read Milton Friedman.

This year has already been revolutionary but we have a ways to go! We must help the American people. It is everyone’s responsibility to help. People are paralyzed on what to actually do. People with a large influence base should definitely be changing things up. This is the time

How are you expecting to fix this? This is the free market. People shouldn't be working a minimum wage job their entire lives. It's not the government's job to hold peoples hands their entire lives. People NEED to work to better themselves, not wait for a handout.
