Shutting down USPS might sound like an unsexy problem but it’s huge. It strikes not only at voting rights but also at our ability to communicate with each other. Anybody who doesn’t think the ultimate target is the Internet is kidding themselves. This man must not be re-elected.

Do it electronically, just as we do our banking. Give everyone an account once they reach 18, no need to register, and voting is tied to your SSN, can only vote once. Make the software open source and voting transparent box and you don't ever even need to worry about accuracy.

His dictatorship has been clear, but I hadn't thought of the impact to the extent Marianne speaks about (communication, internet) and that should sink deep into our being.

Reaganomics ... it began in 1980 ... privatization of all government services in America ... our tax dollars will be going into the profits of multinational corporations ... they did it with the Prisons ... and now they want to do it with the Post Office ... we must say ... NO!

We must keep a government postal service. We cannot have private companies touching sensitive materials. That being said, we also need a government internet so we can take advantage of it to communicate
I’m trying to remember the movie about a post apocalyptic mailman....
