Replying to @AndrewYang @nytimes
I agree with Andrew about this. Principled voices shouldn’t be suppressed in this country, regardless whether or not we always agree with them. In her resignation letter, @bariweiss tells some uncomfortable but important truths that most all of us need to hear.

WTF are you talking about? Weiss is a monster. The problem with the NYT is that they have people like her there in the 1st place.. theintercept.com/2017/08/31/…

She’s not a principled voice, she’s a racist voice.

She's a talentless unprincipled hack that was a stain on journalism. You people are unreal
5
She’s a lightweight hack with no business having a platform to spew her nonsense .

Bari Weiss cheered on the Israeli slaughter of 2000 Palestinians, 500 or so of whom were children in the 2014 Gaza massacre. Where’s this principled defense of Palestinian lives? Certainly not in NY Times editorials.

Woah, no. Bari Weiss is hates black people.

she had one of the biggest megaphones in the country to share her opinions. But if everyone doesn’t agree with her, it’s unfair and she quits. Good riddance.

People should not run for political office without a clear understanding of what constitutes the suppression of “principled voices” in violation of the First Amendment, and what constitutes everyday citizens thinking other everyday citizens are full of nonsense and acting on it.
