I don't believe the 15 year prediction but this is what we should be doing. It's not that children matter more [it's a stage of life duh]. Children can be harmed or benefited to a much larger degree. They're completely dependent on us. The future is shaped by how they are treated
If we were to radically front end our resources in the direction of children, we could create peace and universal prosperity within 15 years.

I agree enabling children to reach potential and live happily is a foundation of a good society. We need other things I'm sure you know-political system that works, sufficient economic resources--but we can't skimp on children and have a good society. It's also meaningful for US!

So it goes from masks...to boxcars but not from a huge military....to boxcars? This is called 'the slippery slope fallacy.' This slope is absurd. We might as well say the requirement to wear clothing leads to boxcars. We already follow rules because of particular social needs.
