5 Reasons I left the Democratic party: 1. @JoeBiden 2. @SpeakerPelosi 3. They refuse to support #MedicareForAll despite the fact that 88% of Democratic voters do. 4. They are NOT “for the people.” They are for their corporate donors. 5. The “lesser of 2 evils” is still EVIL.

I think some people don't understand that if you keep voting for the lesser evil, you end up with a Trump like figure.

It's quite the opposite. If more people had voted for the lesser of two evils last time, Trump would never have become president.

Look, no one knows better than me (other than Bernie) what sick games they play. But this is our democracy we're talking about; we can't let Trump win again. And a lot of people who say they're progressives have sat out the primaries where there are actually good candidates.

Sorry, I didn't realize. Anyway, we could have done better with some of these primaries and we still might in others. In my opinion, we need to stop Trump; that's got to be top priority. Then let's try to forge a progressive space within the Dems under Biden; if we can't, leave.

I feel like we have to put our foots down. Republicans are always going to be bad, there's never going to be a "good" time to let the Dem establishment fail. Getting rid of Trump would be nice but do we really want to do this song and dance again in 2024 against Tucker Carlson

However people vote in Nov, I see no reason for progressives to waste time and resources afterwards on @TheDemocrats. #WallStreetJoe sides with banksters, billionaires and his Republican friends over progressives.

I would be for that if it didn't mean Tucker Carlson/ Tom Cotton 2024 and people just being done with this shit. There needs to be a line in the sand people and Biden is too far beyond the pale
Let me simply this for you these corporate Democrats don't want anything to do with progressives.....why the hell should we help them when they don't want to beat Trump

We have to draw a line. Otherwise, we’ll be right back here in 8 years with President Tom Cotton threatening war in Canada.

How could WE have done better with these primaries when they were flipping coins in Iowa to decide delegate distribution? And candidates pulling out last minute in unison to back a candidate that at the time hadn't won a single primary? It was rigged from the start.

Trying to reform the Democratic Party from within has been a failed strategy for decades. Instead, all Democratic progressives in office need to drop their party affiliation en masse & become independents. Then form coalitions on progressive issues, not corporate party orders.
