1/ To those who think a response to the corporate Dems' dominance of the system, the party duopoly etc is to sit out the election or vote third party, I'd like to give my thoughts: 1) You'll teach them nothing by not voting. It didn't teach them anything in '16 & it won't in '20.

They poured so many millions into McGrath's campaign, it was almost impossible to overcome. But look how close it was! That's my point. We've all been too influenced by a culture of instant gratification. Do you know how long abolition took, or women's suffrage, or civil rights?

do you know how long Bernie fought and screwed by the establishment every time. it’s not like everyone started trying to be progressive yesterday. most of us have been biting that 2 party bullet for most of our lives

That is what I keep telling people. If you want change, join you local party and start making change. It works.
