1/ To those who think a response to the corporate Dems' dominance of the system, the party duopoly etc is to sit out the election or vote third party, I'd like to give my thoughts: 1) You'll teach them nothing by not voting. It didn't teach them anything in '16 & it won't in '20.

2/ The way to respond is to beat them at the ballot box. Unglamourous, nitty gritty campaign work.Yet is was rigged at the presidential level, but w/ down-ballots we've had plenty of opportunity already & progressives haven't always shown up the way we might: Romanoff in CO etc.

3/ If we really want political power, then we have to be involved in politics - not just comment on its injustices from someplace above it all. Yes, it's dirty. That just means we have to get dirt under our fingernails & help the candidates who would fix it if they were in there.

I’m not trying to teach anyone nor am I sitting out. I’m voting for the agenda I can support with the Green Party. The nitty gritty work is building support for that coalition to become viable.

If you're talking about voting prog down ballot, agreed. If you're trying to justify voting for a corrupt, cognitive declining empty husk Biden, NO The donor class that owns both parties & corp media will always have a boogieman to vote against. Not falling for it ever again

I think if we want to bust up the two-party system the most effective/least risky way is through advocating for #rankedchoicevoting at every level of government. This would allow people to vote for other parties without fearing they're enabling monsters.

I respectfully disagree The green new deal was Jill Stein’s 2016 platform before it became gospel for the democrats We can’t move them to the left if we acquiesce to their abuse
