1/ Rights of children are a largely ignored civil rights issue. They have no highly paid lobbyists advocating for them, no way to lobby for themselves, no voting block & no financial leverage. Their needs are constantly undertended to by our political establishment. They need us

2/ We have millions of chronically traumatized children. 13 million hungry kids, millions in schools where they don’t learn to read, millions with PTSD from simply living in their neighborhoods, sex trafficking, violent abuse at home etc. Current system an inadequate response.
