1/ There is no way we should open the schools until and unless CDC guidelines are followed. Trump says the guidelines are too "impractical and expensive." If we don't stand up for our children, we're failing a basic test of our own humanity. #CDCguidelines

So, is that so prevalent that on the whole, its more dangerous for kids to be at home, than at school in a pandemic? I just haven't heard of such prevalence. Do you have a link to some stats

I'm not saying that. I do NOT want them opening the schools without following CDC guidelines. Simply pointing out that the fears are legitimate. The stats are everywhere btw.

In reading this one article, it sounds quite speculative for now. I'm sure there are some increases and I hope this article is mostly correct. Thanks for bringing it up. We cannot send kids back to schools without VERY stringent precautions.
