90% of the coronavirus debate now is about trying to find ways around the fact that the obvious solution is to pay people to stay home until there's a vaccine.

2/ Tens of thousands of people have died and are dying for no other reason than that we didn’t. If we had, the economy would be opening safely now. We’d be having a sane, meaningful conversation about how to make children safe going back to school. We would not be a broken nation

If strict shutdowns happened in January when we knew about the virus and everyone wore a mask, we would be reopening schools safely in the fall.
