Masks or no masks this is a frightening video. A bunch of men somberly marching towards us - the would-be authoritarian in front of a phalanx of military personnel - is not an image of strength or security; it’s an image of unchecked power. Dark theatre nitter.vloup.ch/MayorWatermelon/…

Important to note that when the president goes to see wounded soldiers at Walter Reed Hospital, a bunch of generals aren’t usually walking behind him. These men were told to do it - used and exploited to create an image - just like the general in the photo at Lafayette church.

St John's church , you mean. Which had been set on fire by the riots earlier.

So is that why the Bishop expressed rage at the president for using the church for a photo op?

So the people who don't vote are responsible for the president because they don't or can't participate in the flawed and rigged voting system, but the powerful military personnel who make decisions about war and are there to bolster the president's image are "used and exploited"?

Actually, yes. Of course voters have been used and exploited, but we also haven't put up enough of a resistance to the madness - until now. And those generals didn't just say, "Hey, I want to go too!" Their commander-in-chief called for it, for the sake of the photo op.

Sure ... a display of power and force ... he could just as easily have walked through the Hospital with ... a single doctor.

Do you charge Trump any rent for living in your head, or does he live there rent-free?
