@marwilliamson I really wish you would run as an Independent. I've never been so depressed out this country's future in my life. To wake up every day an know your country hates you. That your government actively withheld resources based on the color of your skin. Its traumatizing

Your country doesn’t hate you, though I understand how you could feel that way. Our govt is in the hands of a regressive minority, but they don’t represent the majority of America or the consciousness of the country. My running as an independent now would not help rid us of them.

I know you are right and that would just divide the vote even further. I think the reality of our situation is just hitting really hard right now and I can't speak for others but as for myself I feel desperate for someone who really understands and wants to help. That's you.
