Sometimes I think we're led by sociopaths projecting their lack of humanity onto the world. Then I think they're just stunted children who are in way over their heads and have no idea how to be adults. Then I think it's our fault for electing them. Then I remember all 3 are true.

Many in positions of power violate the public trust. Reprehensible examples of greed, self-aggrandizement, arrogance, superficiality, and self-centeredness are wreaking havoc on our moral compass. America must remember that it is built on the foundation of ‘We the People.’ VJB

Time to make room for gentle empathic people to free comfortable pursuing roles of leadership. narcissists and sociopaths want power at any cost and will gravitate towards politics even if they have zero talent for public service because they crave power and attention.

I just think it's been so long since most of us suffered true adversity we've decided to do it to ourselves. We're like a rich fratboy getting piss drunk just to feel something.

Agree. Also, many seem to be in a "Father Knows Best" trance, giving blind trust to elected leaders as if they're the perfect parent we never had who will take care of everything and in that delusional trance, (cultivated by our culture), some abdicate adult civic responsibility.

You are correct. Elite sociopaths are running the show. It’s WWIII and they are destroying our freedoms over a virus with a 99.8% recovery rate. Mask mandates for the greater good create a mob mentality and is how Nazi Germany started. This whole Covid narrative is BS! 😡😡😡
