I’m not sure there ever has been a more openly, brazenly corrupt act committed by a president of the United States.

Not true. Such revisionist history perpetuates the very kind of thinking that led to it. It was an illegal war for which those responsible should be held accountable if even only in our memories, lest we fail to learn from our mistakes & allow such criminal wrongdoing ever again.
