Hi Marianne - big fan, but reconsider $600 a week in UI is insane to tie to unemployment. If anything, we should tie it to employment so it drives folks to work. Without work, we don't make stuff. Without stuff, we don't have stuff to buy. Without stuff to buy, we have no economy

People can't live on basic unemployment. As can't those who returned to work for minimum wage. So, what's happening is greed on greed combined with the continuation of the suppression of under compensated (let's call it what it is) American and immigrant communities. #UbiForward

In terms of practical results, whatever they may claim their intent to be, we blew past "cruel" months ago. This is bordering on the sort of indifferent sociopathy that led to bloody revolutions, when people realized their lives meant absolutely nothing to those running things.
