Accountability is important. But forgiveness is equally so. Restorative justice honors both.

Forgiveness should only be extended after the offender has repented & paid restitution.

These next 6 months are dangerous times. We still ‘accounting’ on getting folks out to vote this Fall. Forgiveness can come later.

Our focus on retribution - locking people in dungeons - an experience from which they emerge worse than prior to their convictions, is disgusting. That many are innocents who took plea bargains to avoid risking long sentences at trial is nauseating. #NotMeUs #PrisonReform
