If the Big Pharma monopolies and cartels refuse to compete ... then the government must compete, start up production, and/or step in and regulate price.

So people should be slaves. Got it.

Do you mean tax payers should cover the actual cost which is more than $0 or that big pharma should invest in magic?

A harsh example of the quirks of our healthcare system, but both ways. The insulin producers make slight tweaks which take absorption up by a tiny %, then jack up the price. But consumers, not paying directly, want that tiny % improvement, even though the cost benefit isn't there

By chance my wife is a Type 1 diabetic. Insulin pumps are one of the few technologies in the world where the price keeps going up. Someday somebody is going to do an open source pump and the price will drop from $6k to under $1k

If that's how you feel, REPLACE pharmaceutical rep @CoryBooker! VOTE @HammForSenate for #NewJersey's US Senate seat

If the cost isn't picked up by medicare or some other kind of insurance ... then it and most other prescriptions should be ... "FREE"

Healthcare should be a human right. All healthcare.
