I know the founders didn't want to be tied up in alliances or be the world's police. I know alliances cause trouble and being expected to force a regime change on a whim is a dumb-fucking place to be. I know America's "role in the world" has been corrupted by outside forces.

There’s a huge difference between “taking a stand” and “regime change.” It’s dangerous for the entire world that under this president America has lost any semblance of dedication to human rights globally.

Any and all sovereign nations do not have a dedication to human rights globally. A nation is there to serve its people in its borders, not everyone outside of its borders. To provide for common defense and other things, not taking a stand for someone else.

But all that aside, what exactly is the USA supposed to do? Tell China "knock it off"? Okay, and if they don't, then what? Sanctions? They already have a good portion of our manufacturing industry; the USA isn't going to sanction itself. So what will happen?
