I spoke to the CEO of a large hospital in Florida yesterday who told me the same thing. This is an unmitigated disaster & the message of our govt is “Learn to live with it.” Those hospital personnel are absolute heroes. Even saints. They are literally risking their lives for us.

Texas Doctor: I got 10 calls yesterday for young people who will die if they don’t get ICU support, but I only have three beds left.

Both medical field AND residents knew. My area and doctors knew in Feb well before even one patient and prepared as well as they could. And tried to teach us all. Seriously none of this was secret.
