When the governor of Texas is seeking to mandate wearing masks, you know the situation is bad. Yet even with a tried and true Trumpster for governor, many Texans are resisting him. Prayers for the people of my native state.

If you are in a crowd of 1000 people & 200 of them have COVID19 then a simple mask will not save you. That's why doctors who come in close contact with Corona patients wear PPE kits & N95 masks.

The jury is still out on masks. What really matters is keeping your distance.

One thing that's always missing is nuance. Cases spiked, but hospitalizations didn't. Which could mean these cases are either asymptomatic, or mild at best. Deaths are way down, some publications say by 90%. Even though we'll have to wait and see. I think it's safe to live. πŸ€·πŸΎβ€β™‚οΈ

We'll need more than prayers, but that's all they'll accept, if that.

Yup. Seeing it in Rockwall Texas. Last night our mayor allowed fireworks celebration to take place with hundreds of people attending. Terrible!😒

The work we need to do as a country is deep. The mask might help some but the biology of the planet is collapsing, we cannot live a healthy life on an unhealthy planet. We must clean up our food supply, respect Mother Nature.
