At a time when so many are experiencing Depression era levels of economic despair, instead of issuing an executive order to alleviate any of that he issues an order to build a sculpture garden. He’s focusing on statues of dead people instead of the well-being of those now living.

If it were in the national interest, he'd seek the people's input, as much as he spends the people's funds. At least, he'd appoint a commission. He's proposing a monument to himself. Connecting the dots of statuary locations, reveal an outline of his face? 🤔 #MakeAmericaBetter

Exactly. How about protecting the living citizens?

Sure, Marianne, what do you make of Frederick Douglass statue being torn down? You think you're more important than Douglass?

Where does he get the power to order this decadent waste of our tax-payer dollars at this critical time? Congress has the power of the purse. Will they squander it on a political vanity project? Aren't Exec. Orders to deal with crises not a monument garden? He is not a King.

Yep. Again with the statues of dead people. While actual living people are dying and starving and gasping for air. He’s like a scarier version of Marie Antoinette. “Let them eat a sculpture garden!” #DumpTrump2020

That's okay. If the statues are all in one place it'll be easier to tear them down.
