What would ACIM say about this? Maybe that the world itself is caused by our belief that we are separated from God. If we focus on humanity not being in our right mind...we will be right.

1/ Perhaps they are more ‘weaknesses’ in our nature? E.g. - we easily put greed ahead of friendship - fear makes us seek strength in authority - we can easily believe we are inferior- others are better Not surprisingly we go to war, treat others like inferior slaves,
