This is immoral and obscene.
Drug makers sued Minnesota over a law requiring them to give low-cost insulin to people who can't afford it. 1 in 4 diabetics ration insulin due to skyrocketing cost. The law is named after Alec Smith, who died after rationing his insulin because he couldn't pay $1,300/month.

Sadly we have had too much of this for the past too many years!! Older generations got excited when antiobiotics came out, so their kids wouldn鈥檛 have to suffer longer. If they would鈥檝e known what the system was after, they would have never switched from natural remedies.

Working with a SoCal company that uses implanted islet cells that let the individual produce their own insulin without the need for immune suppression 鈥攖hese tweets just make me want to double down

If you think fascism is worse than obscenities, it's worse than obscene. It's antithetical to democracy. The needs of corporations are inversely related to the needs of citizens in a democracy. They are NOT supposed to have a seat at the table & are supposed to bend to our will

And people wonder why some of us want to burn the system down.

When you leave these ghouls off the leash for so many years, they'll go after every damn piece of law that's somehow still helpful. They'll come after people's lives with 0 shame

My sons insulin is $750 a month. Without the ACA he would never have ins. How would he afford that on top of all the other bills that come with living?
