When govt is essentially bought by those like defense contractors and Big Pharma, any healthy skepticism regarding their overreach is treated as blasphemy by neo-liberal establishment. But healthy skepticism is core to the exercise of freedom, however inconvenient it is to them.

If the Federal government stuck to their job as outlined in Article 1 Section 8 as outlined in The Constitution , there would be no reason to try and buy of politicians, they would have no power to do anything
