yes! "Mary Worth" was everyone's grandmother when we were children. astonishing to learn that it/she is still around! generations of cartoonists must be involved. exactly right--"glacial." if only late adulthood were in fact so serenely dull. in fact, it is a torrent.
I discovered today that the comic strip, Mary Worth, is still around. 2018 marked it's 8th decade in existence. It seemed to me to be the stiffest comic in the funny pages when I was a kid. It's pace is "glacial." So little happened each week I never caught the overall story.
