I called my senators to say vote against the defense authorization act, but before I did I looked some things up. This appropriation of money is $20 billion more than last year‘s budget. Plus it passed overwhelmingly in the house of representatives with 48 Democrat no votes.

Dear America, think about these words. “desperate people do desperate things.” There are many large groups of desperate people doing DANGEROUS things here in America. Each with their own set of reasons. And good or bad, we can’t afford to ignore the reasons. #vote
